Funky Giraffe Bandana Bib Review

A few weeks ago I was fortunate enough to be asked to review a pair of moccasins from Funky Giraffe. Knowing the quality of their products, I was more than happy to review their bandana bibs when I was asked too.

The bandana bibs which a lot of you will also know as dribble bibs, are made from an extremely soft 100% cotton using all natural fibres and they each have a fleece backing.

I received six bandana bibs to review, each in a different design :

* flowers

* pink and white stripes

* pink white white polka dots

* strawberries

* ladybirds

* hearts

All of the bib designs were more girl orientated but when you take a look on the site there is plenty of choice for both girls and boys, as well as many that would be suitable for either gender, you can even get a selction of the bandana bibs personalised, making a lovely gift!!

 I loved all of the designs that I had received and of course I would have to let Layla wear each of them, you know really test them out.

The bibs got worn whilst she was eating, playing and just chilling out in her bed.

There are two poppers to do up the bib, these poppers are free from nickel, a plus for me because I am allergic to nickel!!

I love the amount of adjustment there is, from 30-35cm, this makes them suitable for little babies right up to toddler age. I also found the poppers to be much better than velcro because Layla couldn't easily pull the bib off when she was fiddling about with it.

When I received the bibs, Layla had just started to teeth quite badly and of course with teething comes lots and lots of dribble!! The fleece backing stopped any dribble from soaking through onto her clothes, which in turn meant that I wasn't constantly changing wet tops for dry ones.

I also mentioned at the beginning just how soft these bibs are, tthey have been perfect whilst we have been having all this hot weather because Layla has spent a lot of time wandering around in just a nappy, so the softness of the bib has meant that the bibs have in no way irritated her skin at all.

Where the bib dips in the middle, makes it so the bib positions nicely underneath the chin, this has meant less dribble rashes on Layla's neck too.

The bibs are machine washable and over the past few weeks they have been washed a fair few times, so far they haven't shrunk and they haven't lost their shape at all, so definitely made to last.

I really love these bibs and a lot of other people do to, I have had many comments on just how cute these bibs look, making a gorgeous yet practical item, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending these to others. And with prices starting from £4.00 for one up to £20.50 for 10 bibs, you really can't go wrong, why not have a look and tell me which designs you would buy.
