Another First is Arriving Soon

I can't believe what I am about to type, I just applied for Gracie to start primary school next September.

I know I have done this two times before but it is still just as exciting and terrifying at the same time. Another one of my baby's is growing up far too quick.

It is already strange enough that I am left with only Layla when the eldest two are at school and Gracie is at playschool, I still haven't got used to having only one child around.

For some reason this time round just feels  a bit different. I think Elise and Freya seemed more ready for school than Gracie does, they always acted older than the age that they actually were.

As a parent I think we always worry when our children are venturing into something new and unknown.

Gracie on the other hand couldn't be more excited. Having been going up the school with us since Elise started, she already recognises a lot of the teachers and can't wait to be a "big girl" like her sister's. So when I told her yesterday that I had sent the forms in, she was extremely happy.

Are any of your children starting school next year??

  4. So exciting but sad too! I've only had to do it once so far and it was really hard letting go. I can't see it being any easier next time. Enjoy your last year :)

  10. We are going through this process at the moment, I have been viewing lots of schools. I'm so scared and confused by it all. I'm so glad Gracie is so excited, it really is more stressful for the parents.

Thanks for linking up with Small Steps Amazing Achievements :0)
