Glowbeads Review

My girls and I all love wearing jewellery, whether it be for fun, to brighten up what you are already wearing or to complete an outfit, so when I was asked if I would like to review a piece of jewellery from glowbeads I was already wondering who would get to wear it first.

These glowbeads are very clever, they give the illusion that they are actually glowing when the light hits them, both during the day and at night time. Made from lucite beads which are finished with a mirrored silver plate and then covered in multiple layers of vibrant laquer. It is the light that reflects back when passing through the laquer layers that gives the illusion that there is a bead glowing within a bead.

You can choose from things like frienship bracelets, key rings and even decorations for around your home. I was sent a stunning bracelet. You can see from the picture below just how bright the bracelet is, there is no filter on the image. This is the fuschia colouring but there are many more colours to choose from including turquoise, silver white, dark purple and multi coloured.

Each bracelet cost £12 and you can choose to have either 10mm or 12mm beads placed on them. I really love it, the bracelet is extremely eye catching and the picture below shows that each bracelet also comes with a stunning silver/crystal charm on it too.

From the size of the beads I was expecting the bracelet to be quite heavy so I was surprised when I put it on at just how light it was. My girls all needed a turn trying it on too, it has fast become their favourite item of jewellery and as you can see even in very poor light the bracelet really does glow!!!

Glowbeads are certainly very different, I haven't seen anything like them before. Both fun and funky, they are just perfect to add a splash of colour and will certainly brighten your day. I now have my eye on their shimmer collection.

Which colour would you choose??
