Getting Comfortable in Converses

Before I had a kids, you know before I became known as mum, you would only ever see me in a pair of high heels. Even when my feet were really sore, I just couldn't bare to take them off, not only did they make me that bit taller, they seemed to give a certain amount of confidence. That all changed when I had kids, I some how didn't need the heels to give me confidence, the kids did that for me instead. The  platforms got switched for a comfortable pair of flats, normally my trusty pair of Converses. Running around after little ones 24/7 meant that comfort became key.

I was recently asked by the lovely people at cloggs.co.uk to review a pair of shoes from the great range that they stock. Cloggs have actually been trading online since 1998 and they aspire to be the number one online retailer of branded footwear. Selling over 100 different brands, they deliver all over the world!!

Can you guess what shoes I picked?

Of course I opted for a pair of Converse shoes, well my old ones are looking rather worn from daily wear.

I chose the Converse - All Star Tie Dye Ox in the Mesange/White colour way which are priced at £50. Ordering was quick and easy and I was really impressed when the shoes arrived the next morning, talk about speedy delivery and even better, delivery is free!!

Just as comfy as my original Converses, the colour is lovely and vibrant, just perfect for the start of the warmer weather.

One thing I really love about these is that the laces are a good length, I can't tell you how annoyed I get with other trainers when the laces just drag along the floor and I'm just not cool enough to have my laces tucked into my shoes these days.

Even when worn without socks, they remain super comfy, no blisters to be seen.

I can't recommend Converses enough and you can find plenty of other designs and colours to suit you, your partner and your children over at Cloggs.

What is your go to shoe?? Do you go for comfort, style or both?

xxxx

Disclaimer : I was sent these shoes free of charge for reviewing purposes however all thoughts and opinions are my own.

  6. Love them! I have several pairs of Converse, so it tends to be Converse when it's cold & wet, and then flip flops in the summer!

  8. Ha ha, I hate long laces too. I remember how we all used to tuck the laces down the sides of our trainers, we were just too cool. Love the colour of these shoes! Thanks for linking up with #TriedTested

  11. Love the colour you've chosen. I've always lusted after Converse, but never been able to justify so much on 'casual' shoes. They do look so comfy though! x
