Read With Me #31

Hey there lovely readers, welcome to this weeks #ReadWithMe. Well we've made it to the month of August. Summer holidays have well and truly arrived and I'm finding I now have less and less time to read.

read with me
However in total, I managed to read 17 books last month.

The best book that I read last week was Not Yet by Laura Ward.

This touching romance is filled with love, laughs and a few life lessons.

Touching on the subject of things like autism and downs syndrome, it was well written and really gets you thinking.

My favourite post linked up last week was from Catherine over on StorySnug.

Some great recommendations of books that help children learn and understand about starting school. My 3rd child will be starting primary school in September so this was a very helpful post.

Onto the link up. If you are new to #ReadWithMe take a look here at just what it is all about.

To all you regulars, get linking. Any book related posts are welcome. No rules but it would be appreaciated if you could comment on a couple of other posts linked up and as always I am forever greatful if you can link back or display my badge.

  5. Thanks for hosting again! I'm still smiling from the success of the Lost My Book team in the Dragons' Den last weekend ... makes my heart sing when a book I've been recommending gets such a HUGE vote of confidence. £100,000 - that's some investment!!

  6. I'm impressed with 17! I love to read and look forward to my evening bedtime read each night but I'd say I barely manage 2 a month (not including children's books). So much great stuff out there!
