Datevitation Review

My husband is a really hard person to shop for when it comes to gifts because he is one these people that buys everything for himself so when it comes to birthdays, Christmas etc there is a distinct lack of ideas on what to purchase for him.

This is where Datevitation have kindly stepped in this. This is a US based comapny where you can create one of a kind gift books for someone you love full of fun activities to do together.

Recently they were only delivering within the US and Canada but after many requests they are now trialling sending them to the UK and I was lucky enough to be given the chance to order one for myself.

The process of ordering is simple. Creating a book can take as little as 5 minutes. You can make book for all sorts of occassions and for any recipient including kids and those special people in your life.

I ordered my book on the 18th of March and it arrived on my doorstep on the 26th of March, so it took 10 days in total to arrive which I think is more than reasonable considering how far it had to travel.

The book itself is lovely. The envelope lets you know that there is a surprise within….

Upon opening there is a sweet message inside (I chose a love themed book)

You can even pop in a personalised message to the recipient.

Now I see this book as a type of IOU, these are dates which can take place at a time of the recipients choosing.

The dates rate from romantic….

To the rude…

To really funny in a private joke kind of way, my hubby will certainly get the one below…

The book itself can be as small as 5 dates which starts at $25 and each additional date costs you an extra $1, you can even add your faces in if you wish.

Shipping costs vary depending on where you live but I think the cost is worth it for such a unique and quirky gift.

Overall I was impressed. It was packaged up nicely and the quality of the book itself is good, the paper is nice and strong, the printing is clear and the illustrations are just perfect in my opinion. Certainly a site to check out if you need a new idea for a personalised gift.
