Ok we didn't have the white robes and comfy slippers so we opted for our best pjs and this where it all began. Our relaxing day started off with face masks and the obligatory cucumbers on our eyes, you can see from the images below just how stunning we looked.
Next came the nail painting. I have to admit I was a teeny tiny bit worried of getting paint on my carpet so we put a table cloth down to catch any drips. The end result was a beautiful mix of colour and sparkle, very glamorous.
Make up was requested, I will say now that I don't let them where it out of the house as they are told continually they don't need it but apparently they wanted their faces to be as colourful as their nails.
You can watch the video on You Tube and see what happened when I let them lose on my face. I would say a clown may look better than me ;)
Whilst all this was going on the girls were drinking juice from wine glasses and I was dreaming of strawberries and champagne….
Now we couldn't do the make up and leave out the hair so it was braids all round, this is where having four girls becomes a pain, do you know how long it took me to complete this task!? I was watching hair tutorials at the same time but lets just say I can do my own hair but when it comes to others, not so much.
After all the glamourfying we were in need of refuelling so it was decided that some cookie dough needed to be made, chunky fudge cookie dough to be precise.
This was then eaten whilst we settled down to watch some girly films, no Game of Thrones in sight!!
It was a lovely day, lots of quality time spent with my girls and not a moment of bickering between us all, left me totally refreshed and ready for normal service to resume.
All that was missing was a massage, perhaps this is something I could persuade the husband to do??
