My First Little Library Book Review

I was recently sent a lovely little set of books from the GMC group. My First Little Library (£9.99) from Alain Gree is a gorgeous little set of of four books which introduces little ones to numbers, letters, animals and colours.

I've always thought that books are extremely important, especially for younger children as they learn so much from them even when they can't read the words.

This set is wonderfully put together. The box itself has adorable showing sketches of animals and is immediately eye catching.

Each book has a lot to offer and is produced in a way that you want to look at them time and time again.

The numbers book has big and bold numbers printed, making them stand out, a real help when it comes to number recognition.

The colours book allows your little one to not only start grasping their colours but also get to know objects/items that they might come across.

Looking at the animals is fun and it isn't just your generic farm yard animals either, there is a brilliant range from sea creatures, to pets, to forest animals. We've enjoyed learning about where each animal lives and what noises they might make too.

My favourite book is actually the letters one. What I really love is that unlike a lot of books, all of the letters are written in lower case, brilliant as this is what they will be introduced to first when learning about the alphabet at school/nursery.

Overall a lovely little set, perfect for little hands and definitely one to treasure.

Disclaimer : I was sent this set of books FOC for reviewing purposes however all thoughts and opinions are my own.

  1. These look absolutely gorgeous and just the right size to carry in a handbag. My daughter loved her sets of little board books when she was younger :)

  8. Great Review <3 I always buy little nests of books as they offer so much more and also as you say above perfect for little hands. That is great that the alphabet are in the lower case I can't remember coming across that before and as you say that is how our little ones first come across the alphabet when they go to school. Great Review .x
