Read With Me 2016 #2

read with me linky with MamaMummyMum

Hello lovely readers. Welcome back to another Read With Me. I can't tell you how pleased I was to see so many of coming back this year to link up and even better a few new faces. Nice to see others having the same love for books.

This week I set my Goodreads challenge for the year. Past years I've gone with a fairly high number, 150, and I always felt like I was rushing books so that I could surpass my target. So I thought I would lower my target for 2016 to 100, thinking it might slow me down. Well so far it hasn't. I've already sped my way through The Mortal Instruments series, the story is captivating and I felt the need to start each book in the series as soon as I had finished one.

As I said at the beginning I couldn't have been happier to see an abundance of linkers last week, thank you to everyone who joined in. It was actually quite hard to pick a favourite post out of them all. In the end I decided on Ups & Downs, Smiles & Frowns post on her to read booklist for 2016, it's given me plenty more books to add to my TBR list.

Onto this weeks link up. If you are new to Read With Me, have a nosey here at what it's all about. All you regular lot get linking (max of 2 posts), commenting and hopefully displaying my badge.

Happy reading.

  1. Wow, 150 books! I usually read about 17 a year, although I seem to have started the year a bit quicker this time having completed one already. I do tend to read quite long and challenging books!

  4. 150! wow, that's impressive! I don't think I have ever gone past 100 and that would probably be a long time ago before I had kids!
