Going Outside the Lines With Mindfun Tees

I am a huge fan of colouring, I've always found it to be extremely relaxing, a nice sort of distraction to help you de-stress after a hard day. So I was happy when I was asked to take part in the Going Outside the Lines campaign with Mindfun Tees as I knew I'd benefit from it and I wanted to be able to share my thoughts with all of you lovely readers too.

The idea of the Outside the Lines campaign is the sense that we don't need to "stay in the box", we should have the freedom to express ourselves and what better way to do that than by getting creative with a bit of colouring in.

I chose a lovely skulls and roses t-shirt to get creative with and it didn't take me long to get started, the only problem was that my kids wanted to join in too (I know what I'll be buying them for Christmas this year!).

Coming complete with a rainbow of colouring pens to help your creative juices to start flowing you can of course colour in as little or as much as you like. I love being able to mix up colours, popping colours next to each other that other people wouldn't necessarily see as correct.

What you end up with is both a sense of calm and a t-shirt that is unique to you, setting your own little fashion trend. I will say that you do have to be a little careful as the colours can bleed into one another if you don't give them a proper amount of time to dry but other than that I had no complaints.

The t-shirts themselves are comfortable to wear and come in sizes S, M, L and XL. I'm normally a size 8 and that S fit perfectly on me. Once you've ironed the top (something I don't like doing!), your t-shirt is good to go, you can wash it on temperatures up to 60ยบ and I can confirm that the colours do not run.

If you fancy trying a bit of colour therapy but don't think colouring books are quite your thing I'd highly recommend purchasing one of these t-shirts, with prices starting from £11.99, they are available for both kids and adults they make a great gift for yourself or for others.

  1. Me and my teenage daughters have become big fans of the recent colouring book trend. These t-shirts are an ace idea and I do love the sugar skull design. I reckon they'd also make great gifts for hard to buy friends and family! Thanks for the review; I'm always on teh look out for unique ideas and crafts :)

  2. Love your final design with all the colours! I won one of these recently in a giveaway and have yet to find time to sit down and colour it in - your post has reminded me that I really must do so! :-)
