Read With Me #27 2017

Hello and welcome to another Read With Me and at the start of July no less, how have we made over half way through the year already?

read-with-me

I finally finished reading American Gods last week, it's a brilliantly confusing novel but I'll admit I did struggle with it due to the size of it. I'm now in need of some shorter stories to read so any suggestions would be welcome.

My favourite post last week came from The Daisy Pages with their review of Goodbye, things by Fumio Sasaki.

On to the link up. Newbies do look at the Read With Me page, regulars get linking (max of 2 posts/videos), comment on a couple of other posts and perhaps consider displaying my badge of linking back somehow.

Happy reading.

  1. How long is American Gods? I like a long book, but just over 500 pages is big enough for me. Anything less than 300 pages and I feel I've been a bit short-changed!

  2. It is 635 pages long so maybe a bit too long for you.

    1. That's not too bad! I thought you were going to say 1000!

  3. I keep putting off reading Game of thrones because of the number of pages. I'm also a bit worried that I'll get confused with all the characters because I've just watched season 1 of GoT and I kept having to Google character names when someone mentioned them because I couldn't remember who they were!

  5. I always love to see what you've been reading! I am so far behind in books at the moment, but I hope I can start reading more!
