Read With Me 2018 #11

Hello and welcome to this weeks Read With Me, thank you to everyone who linked up last week, always appreciated.

Normally when I read I read one book at a time. I've always wondered how people manage to read more than one book at a time, how they concentrate and remember more than one storyline. But last week I converted.

I'd started reading one novel that I had been given for my birthday and then I received a notification that I'd been accepted to review a book on Netgalley, one that I was desperate to read, so for the past week I've been juggling two stories. So far so good, although it has taken me extra time to get through them both.

My favourite post from last week came from Acorn Books with her review of Mr Shaha's Recipes for Wonder.

On to the link up. Newbies do look at the Read With Me page, regulars get linking (max of 2 posts/videos), comment on a couple of other posts and perhaps consider displaying my badge of linking back somehow.

Happy reading

  1. I have no idea how people read two books at once, but then again, I usually have a work book on the go and am reading a book to my daughter, as well as reading my own book, so maybe I do! Sometimes all three of them seem to have similar themes.

    1. I think I'd get even more confused if the books were similar.

  3. One book at a time for me, unless I'm also dipping into one that the children are reading

  4. My son usually has 4/5 books on the go because he likes to jump from fiction to non-fiction depending on how he feels but I think 2 are enough.
