Especially given that when they're in a pushchair they're sitting down the whole time!

I love to see a mother carrying her child, I think it makes their bond stronger because they spend so much time next to you. Well done you for not thinking you're doing something wrong. We all parent in our own way and shouldn't be questioning each other. xxMorgan Princehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11929878897599036944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-798203692536483855.post-68783799088550405912014-11-18T19:55:53.755+00:002014-11-18T19:55:53.755+00:00I hate it when people say things about carrying ma...I hate it when people say things about carrying making them lazy/never letting them learn to walk. Ahh yes, because pushing them in a buggy teaches them how to walk....I still carry Isabelle at 19 months, and it's so handy! And like you say, pretty much weightless with the right carrier. Let's face it, people saying the above things are simply showing their own ignorance of babywearing! xx
http://naturalmommainme.blogspot.co.ukAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06382275727158227921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-798203692536483855.post-69006345745213125032014-11-18T14:24:24.730+00:002014-11-18T14:24:24.730+00:00Make them lazy?! Looks lovely, enjoy it and ignore them all! xThe Reading Residencehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05369916076614976295noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-798203692536483855.post-55297830082199658212014-11-18T10:10:26.958+00:002014-11-18T10:10:26.958+00:00*TUT* Carrying your kids doesn't make them laz...*TUT* Carrying your kids doesn't make them lazy! What crazy people said that to you :D

Like you I hardly wore my first two kids, but the third and fourth kids were (are) almost always carried. It's a great method of bonding, soooo practical when you have other kids - as you said. And what exactly do these people think we did with babies before the invention of the pram?

Great blog post. I have to say I've had nothing but positive responses when I'm out and about, but people are a but bemused by it haha I remember seeing babywearing in 2004 when I lived in Brazil and from that moment on I knew I'd carry any babies I had xxAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08037995409096210406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-798203692536483855.post-86155713530357909642014-11-18T08:01:35.254+00:002014-11-18T08:01:35.254+00:00I wish i'd known more about baby wearing when ...I wish i'd known more about baby wearing when I head Abbie, I tried it once with her and she fell asleep instantly, then for some reason I didn't use it again! Would've helped me out a lot I think!

People will always have their opinion on parenting, personally I don't see why you wouldn't want to carry a toddler on your back, so much easier than manoeuvring a pushchair around all the time! Keep doing what you're doing :) xxJesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16723105830905470513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-798203692536483855.post-81205849350296269372014-11-18T07:47:01.848+00:002014-11-18T07:47:01.848+00:00Well said hunny.
