You might have noticed that it's turned into festive season on my blog. I know it's only September but really you can read Christmas themed books all year round (they're not just for December).
I have another recommendation for you today in the shape of This Is Not A Holiday Romance by Camilla Isley.

I LOVED this story.
It had me laughing and smiling from start to finish.
A fun take on the enemies to lovers trope, we follow Nina and her brother's best friend Tristan as they navigate their way through what could be a very awkward Christmas.
Told from both perspectives, I really enjoyed seeing what they were thinking/feeling over shared moments and events. This type of writing gave the story depth without making it too serious.
Insightful.
Meaningful.
With a great mix of chemistry and sarcasm, the relationship progression felt natural and the frustrations and tension between the pair was pleasingly palpable. Just the right amount of sex appeal in my opinion. I could feel the heat!
There was a supporting cast that also bought plenty of banter including Nina's brother Dylan, could they have their own spin-off novels perhaps?
Entertaining, humorous and easy to read.
This is a romcom book that could get anyone out of a reading slump and I reckon it would look good adapted for film as well.
This Is Not A Holiday Romance is escapism at its best, a story that although sort of festive, can be read all year round.
