But me and J were looking through newborn photos of L and missing it, missing her newbornness, her total dependency and the squishy cuddles. I look at my baby and I can't quite match the two or match the baby to my bump. But what makes me so happy is seeing her grow and make leaps and move forward in her own life. Her independence and determination that is all her own. We are hoping to have another baby in the future. At least one more. I need to come to terms with my birth experience first and also have at least one full nights sleep!

I hope you find the answers you need of the peace to move forward.

#PoCoLoAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05256556326758405402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-798203692536483855.post-77871650696783080742013-11-08T20:31:36.185+00:002013-11-08T20:31:36.185+00:00Nice to know I'm not alone with my feelings!! ...Nice to know I'm not alone with my feelings!! I now have 6 children and would love more. I have 3 boys and 3 girls so I don't think broodiness is anything to do with you not having a boy. I guess it's just our hormones. I feel I was definitely born to be a mum, I love it and I'm glad you do too! xAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02071951911136769702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-798203692536483855.post-57193142317234468452013-11-08T13:37:58.534+00:002013-11-08T13:37:58.534+00:00yes and it is those kind of memories that you want...yes and it is those kind of memories that you want to save forever xBrewtiful Fictionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10829009107898468171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-798203692536483855.post-280849894495910892013-11-08T13:05:28.228+00:002013-11-08T13:05:28.228+00:00Oh it's so hard isn't it, I don't know...Oh it's so hard isn't it, I don't know what our plans will be but those memories are so hard to capture that it feels like a really elusive emotion you have with a newborn xthere and back againhttp://www.thereandbackagainamotherstale.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-798203692536483855.post-24674845782417388942013-11-08T12:21:22.887+00:002013-11-08T12:21:22.887+00:00aaa yes lie ins, definitely something to look forw...aaa yes lie ins, definitely something to look forward too lol xBrewtiful Fictionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10829009107898468171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-798203692536483855.post-40070976928138688652013-11-08T11:50:25.716+00:002013-11-08T11:50:25.716+00:00I have two girls and sometimes I get broody but se...I have two girls and sometimes I get broody but seeing as they're now 9 and 5 the feeling does pass. My mum would of loved more children after my brother and I but she wasnt able to. She said it was years before she accepted there wouldn't be anymore. In my case ive only got one and so I would like two. I think I find it hard to imagine never being pregnant again, never having that new born smell. The 3rd was a boy though, after two girls and although I told myself over and over that I would be happy if he was a girl, I wonder if perhaps I would have felt a bit like you? I'm sure that's not your situation though and maybe the feeling will pass in time. Vasectomies can always be reversed you know ;) Probably not very helpful!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02610843552921892203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-798203692536483855.post-77135583113137579032013-11-08T10:53:14.247+00:002013-11-08T10:53:14.247+00:00It is surprising because when I was younger the th...It is surprising because when I was younger the thought of having children terrified me but as soon as I fell pregnant with my eldest daughter the maternal switch just flicked on. I don't know if it will pass or not, some people are just natural mothers (not me which is why I won't be having any more!) but your babies still very much need you and will really never stop needing you although these needs will change over time. It is a loss though, it's the end of a stage in your life and I think it is important to recognise that.
