This photo was taken last Sunday when the sun finally decided to shine so we made the decision to walk down to the seafront. Now where the girls are sitting above used to be a fountain but for some unknown reason they seem to have decided to cover it up and the girls were fascinated by what has been put in it's place.
It appears to be a crown made from plants, a very green crown. I have to admit it does make you stop and look but I personally prefer having the fountain there, the girls used to love throwing pennies in and making wishes.
However I have to be grateful for the decking because a miracle happened, I got a photo of all four of these monkeys and they were all looking at the camera once. It's funny because my eldest went through a stage of not wanting her photo taken, a confidence thing about her looks I think.
But.... now she's gone the opposite way and loves being in front of the camera, happy to strike a pose. Something I'm glad of because I felt bad having photos of the others and not her, plus I know I'm biased but I think she looks gorgeous (all be it growing up too fast!).
I want all my kids to be confident in themselves, my 8 year old has always had this (pink dress) and I think her attitude is finally rubbing off on her big sister.
