My Sunday Photo 2016 #47


I'm always surprised when I see flowers at this time of the year. The temperatures have dropped significantly and I know I don't like being out in the cold so it makes me wonder how all these plants manage to survive, especially ones as delicate looking as this.

    I've been surprised by the number of flowers I've seen recently: we have some growing in our garden, the orchids in my window have just come into bloom again and there are lots of pansies in public places at the moment. I worry about how they will do in the frost, but it's nice to see them.
