DenTek Mouth Care Review and Giveaway

One thing that we teach our children early on is the importance of brushing our teeth. Even when are children haven't even got teeth, we start teaching them to hold a tooth brush and to clean those gums.

We as adults set the example, so of course must make sure to have good oral hygiene, this includes brushing our teeth twice a day and flossing.

DenTek is the leading oral healthcare brand in the US, founded in 1984 by John Jasheski, their focus is on innovative consumer oral care products and they are making their way over to the UK. This company produce a huge range of interdental products that include floss picks, tongue cleaners and dental guards.

I was sent three of their products to test out and review :

1. Complete clean back teeth floss picks
Now I have to admit I have always found flossing my back teeth extremely hard and in turn I also have to admit that I have failed to do it on numerous occasions. These floss picks make it extremely easy to angle them at those pesky back teeth and the shred proof floss slides effortlessly between the teeth. The floss has a subtle mint flavour to it which leaves a fresh taste in your mouth after flossing. At the other end they have bristled pick brushes which manage to get between even the tightest of teeth.

These are available in a sample pack of 3, or packs of 75 or 125, so you won't need to buy them on a weekly basis.

2. Easy Brush Interdental Cleaners
These are ideal for people who have braces or bridges but they are also great for reaching those trouble spots and giving a really deep clean. The handle features a non slip grip and can be extended for those hard to reach back teeth. The brush is tapered and there is even a cap to put over the brush.

Being small, I found these great to keep in my back so if you decide to have a bite to eat out, you can clean out any unwanted food with ease.

These are available in packs of 10 or 16.

3. Comfort Clean Tongue Cleaner
I often forget about cleaning my tongue, however a dirty tongue is the main source of bad breath as that is where all those horrible germs lurk. The narrow design of this tongue cleaner means that you don't gag when it reaches the back of your tongue. You have to clean one side at a time rather than all at once and I think this means you get a better clean overall. It is soft as it scrapes, following the contours of your tongue and the end result is fresh and clean breath.

With prices for these products starting at  £3.00, I can see DenTek becoming popular over here quite quickly. Removing the food and plaque that normal brushing doesn't, they not only promote good oral hygiene, they leave you with a lovely smile too.

  5. Love the giveaway! I quite enjoy giving my mouth the full scrub and can't live without my tongue scraper!

I've just started to get their Easy Brushes and prefer them to my old interdental brushes as they don't bend as much.
