Sleeping Beauty Is Coming to Blu-Ray

I have always been a huge Disney fan and with four girls I certainly can't escape those Disney Princesses. Next week on the June 2nd sees the release of the Disney Classic, Sleeping Beauty on Blu-ray DVD and digital download, this means any of you who haven't managed to watch it yet (where have you been?) will now have the pleasure of watching in all its glory.

Originally released in 1959, the story follows Princess Aurora, the daughter of King Stefan and his
wife. When celebrating her arrival three good fairies - Flora, Fauna and Merryweather give magical gifts to Aurora but the evil sorceress, Maleficent does the opposite and places an evil curse upon the young Princess. The curse, she will die on her 16th birthday after touching a poisoned spindle.

Merryweather casts another spell which will allow Aurora to awake from an ageless sleep with a kiss from her one true love.

A timeless tale that you can fall in love with time and time again and of course there is that happily ever after to look forward to.

Now packed with bonus features including :

* Cine explore audio commentary

* Princess fun facts

* Music and more including the classic song Once Upon a Dream

There couldn't be a better time to introduce this family fairytale to another generation of Disney lovers.

While we are celebrating, below are some fun Sleeping Beauty themed activities for your kids to do, just right click and save onto your computer, you can then print out as many copies as you'd like.
