Read With Me #32

Hello. Welcome to this weeks Read With Me. So we've reached the third week of our Summer holidays and the girls have managed to read 3 out of their 6 books for the Summer Reading challenge.

read with me
It has made a nice change having all of the kids with me to pick out their books instead of me trying to decide what they might like.

We were so busy last week that I forgot to make a  library haul video but I can tell you that there was a great mix of scary, history, well known characters (Hello Kitty) and short but sweet books.

I've been busy reading too, I've started reading the City of Bones series, so far so good!!

My favourite post linked up came from Story Snug. A brilliant piece showing us how to create a Summer reading tree. This activity would be perfect for any rainy days over the holidays.

Onto this weeks link up. If you are new to Read With Me, take a look here at what it's all about. Regualr? Get linking, commenting and hopefully displaying my badge.

Happy reading.

  1. Thank you for highlighting Story Snug's post. We're currently reading books quicker than we can draw the pictures for our tree!

  6. Hi, thanks for hosting. First time I've linked up....finally! We are doing the summer reading challenge too - done four now, although dozens of non-library books too. Our local library was in rather short supply of children's books today, great to see so many children borrowing them. x

  10. Looks like a great link up this week and I look forward to reading them. Mine is a review of a new Australian author Caroline Magerl who is a great artist and illustrated her own book. Hope you get a chance to read it. The story helps children who are finding change and new things difficult.
