London Activity Book Review

The lovely people at GMC distribution kindly sent the girls a copy of the London Activity book (£9.99). Now London is a place we like to visit often, there is so much to see and do in that city, you will never be stuck for places to visit and activities to do….

London is a big, busy city, filled with famous sights and this activity book is the most fun way to find out all about them. It is packed with things to draw, doodle and design.…..

All of my daughters are keen artists. They love nothing more than getting creative and this book allowed them to do just that.

What I found great immediately was the size of the book. It wasn't overly large but it was big enough to allow all four girls to sit around it to see exactly what was on each page.

From colouring, to cutting out and even designing your own buildings and flags, there are activities to suit everyones interests.

But of course from a parent point of view I think the best part is that they are learning something new with each turn of the page.

There is a wealth of knowledge to be learnt about our capital city. From how tall some of it's famous buildings are, the whereabouts of certain attractions and details about landmarks such as Houses of Parliament and the Tower of London.

All of these things extend what you can do with this book as it leads to questions being asked and more facts being learnt.

A lovely bonus is the eight postcards situated at the back of the book ready to be coloured in and written on. We plan to use these to send to family members each time we visit London to tell them about our trip.

This is an activity book that is wonderfully illustrated. Plenty of detail  It provides hours of entertainment whilst providing a means of learning something. Perfect for not only kids who love getting creative but also those who love to learn a little bit about history etc too.

Disclaimer : We weren't sent this book FOC for reviewing purposes however all thoughts and opinons are my own.

  2. I do like the look of that. We went to London at the weekend and it would have been the ideal thing to have taken with us. We only go a few times a year so it is always quite exciting.

  5. This looks great and would be perfect for a car trip to London with older kids! Will bear this in mind for when BookBairn is old enough to colour in! We tried drawing with special baby crayons last week but she just bashed them together like cymbals! Oh, well, back to the drawing board I guess! #sorryforthepun #readwithme!
