My Sunday Photo 2016 #38

bunch-of-flowers

Last week was my 8th wedding anniversary, it was the day we got back from our holiday so we didn't have a chance to really do a lot as quite frankly we were both too tired. But when we got home at 6.30am I was greeted by this gorgeous bunch of flowers.

My lovely mum had bought them for us, she said she wanted the house to smell nice when we returned and they did indeed smell wonderful. The roses didn't last too long but some of the flowers are still holding on two weeks later, I'm getting better at keeping plants alive!

I said in a Facebook post that I'm now trying to persuade my lovely husband to renew our vows when we reach our ten year wedding anniversary. I mean it is a great excuse for a family get together and party, plus I really want all my children involved this time round as only the eldest two had been born when we got married first time round. Has anyone else renewed their vows or thought about doing so?

  1. What a lovely photo! Renewing your vows sounds like a really nice idea. I haven't done it. My friend did it for her silver wedding recently!

  5. Happy anniversary!! Such a lovely idea to leave you flowers. I love the idea of renewing vows, we've never thought about it seriously though.
