Over the past 9 months my love for exercising has really grown. The trouble is I need to fuel my body with plenty of protein so that my muscles have a chance to recover before I delve into my next workout. Fitting protein into my meals has been quite easy but snack wise was more difficult. I've leaned towards eating things like quest bars but these get quite costly so I have been trying to find ideas for things I can make myself. Protein balls are just that, small balls packed full of protein and I've finally put together a recipe that is easy to make and low in cost too.

Making a Difference to My Workouts With #PredNutrition
It is no secret that exercising can make a huge difference to your healthy and wellbeing. Over the past few months I have been trying out different workouts to not only help me lose weight but to just keep me fit in general but as I've learnt over the past few months what you do pre and post workout can affect how your body changes and recovers.
I was recently sent a hamper of goodies from Predator Nutrition to help me in my continued journey to tone up my body. This included two products. A preworkout drink and snack bars.

Chocolate and Peanut Butter Protein Muffins
I think I mention on a weekly basis just how much I love cake and even though I'm trying to be healthy I really can't live without it. So what's better than cake? A healthy cake packed full of protein, that's what!!
My latest recipe combines peanut butter, chocolate and protein oh and banana because fruit definitely means that these delicious muffins are indeed good for you.

Protein Packed Snack Balls
Since trying to get fit, exercise more and generally just tone up my body, one thing I am increasing in my diet is the amount of protein I consume as it is great in aiding muscle building/recovery. I'm trying to incorperate this not only in my meals but my snacks too.
One of the latest crazes that I've seen is protein/energy balls. These small circular snacks can be made in all sorts of flavours, are generally low in calories and certainly pack a punch when it comes to the amount of protein they can contain.

No Flour No Egg Cookies
Trying to diet can be hard, especially when you love cakes and cookies as much as I do. I mean it is hard to resist the flavours and the textures. And it doesn't help when the Great British Bake Off is playing on the TV either.
There is something about the smell of them baking in the oven that is really appealing too, and licking the bowl, this just calls to my inner child.
In an attempt to curb my cookie craving I have come up with a recipe that only needs 4 basic ingredients, there there is no flour of eggs involved so not only are they healthy, they can be eaten by almost anyone!!!

Upbeat Review
I am always on the quest to lose weight and get fit. Over the past year or so I have come across various tips and theories to help me with changing my body for the better. One thing that has always remained true is that you need a healthy balanced diet with the right amount of vitamins, nutrients etc. Protein plays a huge part in helping build your muscles and is something that I try and consume plenty of, I top this up by having a protein shake after I exercise so when I was asked to review a new protein shake from Upbeat, I was keen to try it..
I was sent a lovely goodie pack along with some vouchers to go and purchase a few bottles of Upbeat, they couldn't send me the bottles themselves as these drinks need to stay chilled.
