Read With Me #31 2017

Hello and welcome to this weeks Read With Me. I think my posts will be quite brief over the coming weeks with the kids off school for the summer holidays but I love reading all your posts so I didn't want to stop posting myself.

I do love the holidays as it means I can get the girls to the library and reading some different books, the library is like a second home for my eldest, she's already talking about spending most of her time in the school's library when she starts secondary school in September.

My favourite post last week actually came from Story Snug with her suggestions of activity books for the summer holidays, great way to keep kids learning whilst being entertained, especially on rainy days.

On to the link up. Newbies do look at the Read With Me page, regulars get linking (max of 2 posts/videos), comment on a couple of other posts and perhaps consider displaying my badge of linking back somehow.

Happy reading.

  1. Thank you for the Story Snug mention. We're testing out another great activity book this week :o)

  2. I don't read nearly as much over the summer holidays. The kids interrupt my reading time! I have to choose books with less complicated plots especially.

  3. Activity books are such a good way to keep kids busy. BookBairn finds most a bit tricky but she loves sticker books and is beginning to properly colour in! Thanks for hosting! x

  4. I'm finding it difficult to read as much and things are so hectic I keep forgetting to link up! I'll have to set a weekly reminder on my phone so I don't forget net week!

  5. Funny you should mention going to the library, I love that bit of the school holidays too! Although getting the 5 year old away from the Rainbow Magic books is a challenge!! I've linked up with a library book she chose for her little brother :) Thanks for hosting!

    1. lol oh mine were obsessed with those books for quite some time!!

I love hearing from my readers so please feel free to leave comment.
