Read With Me 2018 #40

Hello you lovely lot and welcome to another weeks Read With Me. A big thanks to everyone who linked up last week. As always those posts and comments are always greatly appreciated.

We're now a little way through autumn and I've managed to reach my Goodreads target of fifty two books read in a year. I'm now wondering just how many novels I can read from now until the end of the year.

With Halloween coming up I'd love it if you could share your favourite spooky books in the comments below.

Now on to my favourite post from last week. I was loving the review from The Ish Mother of the picture book Froggy Day.

On to the link up. Newbies do look at the Read With Me page, regulars get linking (max of 2 posts/videos), comment on a couple of other posts and perhaps consider displaying my badge of linking back somehow.

Read With Me

Happy reading.

  1. Well done on reaching your target of 52 books in a year already. I think I'm definitely going to read more books this year than in previous years, but it won't be quite as many as that.

  2. I don't really get scared by books. I've read nearly all the Stephen King books and whilst I enjoy them, they don't really scare me. The only book that actually gave me chills was The Magic Cottage by James Herbert. I can't remember much about it now but I do remember telling Ant that it was the first book I'd read that ever made me feel a bit scared!

  4. Thanks for hosting Chantelle. If you're looking for spooky books I added an older post about our favourite 'Storybook Witches'.
