Question for you this week. Have you ever read a book after seeing lots of glowing reviews for it only to be rather disappointed in it yourself?
I found that lately with the novel Queenie. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't as great as I was expecting it to be.

Yes! I had that with Normal People, but then I loved the TV programme.
ReplyDeleteYeah - I hated Gone Girl and The Fault in Our Stars. Both were really hyped and I just found the main characters that everyone loved more annoying than anything!
