Read With Me 2020 #30

Hey there book lovers.

Welcome to this weeks Read With Me.

Thanks as always to everybody who took the time to join in last week, whether that be linking, commenting or simply reading the posts.

I joined in with a reading challenge last week called Reading Rush.

I'd not heard of it before, the idea of it is to pick 7 books and read those 7 books in a week, essentially one a day.

Now when I here challenge, I accept and excel, which means I did read all seven books. Here's the books I read:

Just Like the Other Girls by Claire Douglas
The Stationery Shop of Tehran by Marjan Kamali
One of us is Next by Karen M McManus
The Truth and Lies of Ella Black by Emily Barr
Let it go by Jen Calonita
Here Lies the Secrets by Emma Young
The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett.

Now my favourite post last week came from Story Snug with her post about books inspiring colour learning activities, imaginative and clever.

On to the link up. If you'd like to know more about this linky do visit my Read With Me page. For all regular linkers you know the drill, max of two posts and please make the effort to comment on others. You can of course share my badge below:

Happy reading.

  1. Thank you for the shoutout Chantelle, I really miss the days when we used picture books to inspire our crafts.

  2. Wow, 7 books in 7 days. That is amazing. I haven't read The Secret Garden since childhood

  3. Wow, I would never have managed seven books in seven days! It's rare I even manage one book in seven days. The only one of those books I've heard of is The Secret Garden. I think I've read a different book by Claire Douglas though. The name certainly sounds familiar!
