Miffy Book Bundle Giveaway

This year sees the lovely Miffy turning a massive 60 years old, I remember reading books featuring the loveable character when I was younger but I didn't realise that she had been around for quite so long.

Some of you may have noticed the shiny new badge on my sidebar, I have been chosen along with a few other bloggers to be a Miffy Mum. My job is to help Miffy celebrate her birthday and to get all of my awesome readers to join in with the festivities too.

Celebrating Twinkl's Birthday With a Giveaway

You may remember last year that I was lucky enough to review the platinum service provided by Twinkl, the website that provides printable resources for teachers, schools, nurseries and parents alike. This week Twinkl are celebrating their 4th birthday and to get into the party spirit, they wanted to provide everyone with some fantastic fun and games, free resources and of course some amazing giveaways.

With over 114,000 resources on the site already and more being added all the time, you can see why Susie and Jonathon's creation receives millions of visitors every month.

Celebrate Good Times

After Christmas, my bank balance is always left feeling more than a bit poorly but unfortunately it doesn't have time to recover because January, February and March are filled will lots and lots of family and friends birthdays.

This week is always one of my favourites though, even if it does prove expensive, as it is time for my mum, Freya and I to become another year older, even if I do wish that I could stay forever 21 ;)

So my word of the week is Celebrate.

Birthday celebrations

I cannot believe that another set of birthday celebrations have begun. When you have kids everyone tells you enjoy them while they are young because they grow up so fast and it is true they really do, the time seems to fly by.

I can still remember the day like it was yesterday, 8 years ago I gave birth to my first daughter, 12 days overdue and 25 hours of labour before I finally got to meet her. 9 months of pregnancy made completely worth while.

After all of the wondering about what she would look like, what colour eyes would she have, would she have any hair, I was just pleased and relieved to have her in my arms.

It is mad how that motherly instinct seems to instantly kick in, it was like she had always been there and there was certainly no way I could ever live without her.

Over the years I have watched her go from a baby, to a toddler, to a very clever young girl. The one thing that took a while to change was her hair, she was a little baldy for a long time!!

Along the way she has become a big sister three times!!!

She makes me proud to be her mummy every single day. Always eager to learn, she is teaching me new things all of the time.

I'm looking forward to many more years of her amazing and astounding me.
