Munchkin Disney Cups Review

After the sucessful review of the Munchkin Disney feeding range, I was extremely excited when I was sent two of the cups from this range, the Minnie flip straw cup and the Monsters inc trainer cup.

Both cups are BPA free and Munchkin's great click n lock technology, I love being able to hear the click as you know you have put the lid on correctly, no accidental spillages to be had.

Layla was my first tester, trying out the trainer cup. This cup is suitable for little ones from 6 months onwards, holding up to 200ml of drink, the perfect size for little hands. As you can see from the picture below, Layla had no problem drinking from the cup, with the handle either side, it was easy to lift up and the Monsters inc design made it very appealing to look at. I love that even though the cup is non drip, it comes with a lid so that you can put it in your change bag/ handbag and not worry about anything getting on the spout.

We had arguments over the Flip straw cup, Elise, Freya and Gracie really wanted to test this one!! In the end Gracie won the battle. Now my little Gracie is a lot like her mummy and doesn't drink enough, infact you can normally find her juice from breakfast time still sat there at dinner time. I now love the Flip Straw cup, she is constantly asking to have it refilled, the idea of drinking through a straw is obviously very appealing to young children. The cup is suitable from 12 months onwards (although Layla 11 months had to prove she could do it too), holding just over 250ml, it is a great size and because you can shut the straw inside of the cup, it makes it ideal to take out and about with you. The one problem we found on the first few uses was that the part you have to pull up to get the straw to flip out was quite stiff, even I struggled to get open and I am awfully strong being a super mummy :) After a few uses, I am happy to report that it has loosened up and Gracie can now do it by herself, yay.

Now Freya was most upset that she didn't get to be a tester as such, so she wanted to get into the review somehow. See the picture below as Freya demonstrates that the cups are indeed non drip/leak proof.

Once again great products from the wonderful Munchkin. The vibrant colours and Disney designs are enticing for children of all ages. The click n lock leak proof technology means less mess for parents to clean up and the fact that it got my Gracie drinking properly means I give these cups a massive thumbs up.

Disclaimer : These cups were to sent to me free of charge for reviewing purposes however all thought and opnions are my own.
