Tagliatelle with Turkey Rashers and Butter Beans Recipe

A couple of weeks ago I wrote a post about Schwartz's Perfect shakes and I shared with you my recipe for potato wedges. Schwartz were generous enough to also send me some of their new flavour shots, I received the Indian Spicy Jalfrezi Curry, the Spanish Paella and the Italian Creamy Herb Tagliatelle. These pots are packed full of spices and herbs which are mixed with oil and create a perfect base for lots of favourite family recipes.

Of course it gave me a chance to experiment. So now I'm going to share with you my recipe for tagliatelle with turkey rashers and butter beans……

Ingredients

* 500g Fresh Tagliatelle
* Packet of Turkey rashers sliced
* Tin of Butter Beans
* 250g Cherry Tomatoes cut in half
* Schwartz Italian Creamy Herb Tagliatelle Flavour Shot

Preparation

* Give the flavour shot a stir and add to a preheated pan, stir for a couple of minutes
* Add the bacon and fry for around 3-4 minutes then drain any fat.
* Whilst cooking the turkey rashers, cook the tagliatelle according to the instructions on the packet.
* Add the tomatoes and butter beans to the bacon and stir for another minute.
* Mix in the now cooked pasta and serve with garlic bread.

I was so impressed with the flavour shot, it meant I didn't need to use anymore oil when cooking and it added immense flavour to the dish, delicious would be an understatement, I went back for seconds and thirds!!!

Each flavour shot actually comes with a three step recipe for you to use, takes the fuss out of cooking and priced at £1.39 per flavour shot, it is a pretty inexpensive way to give your dinner that twist that it's been missing!!

  2. I like your recipe in principle except I hate butter beans, but I'm sure it could be adapted. #TastyTuesdays
