Magic Notebook Review

My kids love to draw, write and colour. We go through copious amounts of paper in the process and as much as I'd like to keep all of their creations, I just don't have room so their drawings always head to the recycling bin.

That was until I was introduced to the magic notebook.

From the makers of the magic whiteboard as seen on Dragons Den, this notebook comes in two different sizes, A4 and A5 and can be ordered with plain or lined pages. There is even a children's reusable colouring book available.

These notebooks can be written on with any dry marker or dry erase correctable pen and are made to be used again and again and again. What you draw/write can be erased with their own magic wipes (£3.99 for 25 wipes) or even with a tissue or a pencil eraser.

My girls have been using them since they came through the door. The lined notebooks have come in handy for things like spellings and handwriting practice.

And the plain notebooks instantly became sketchbooks.

They would even be useful for older children/adults if they needed to take notes/remember certain things as the writing doesn't smudge when you close the pages together.

The notebooks come with either 8 or 40 pages inside them and what was good was that there wasn't loads of smudging and no pen seeping through onto the next page which can be very annoying.

We were even provided with the colouring book to try out, which is fantastic by the way. The drawings can be coloured in, wiped away and then coloured in with different colours after. New designs to be made each time and even better no arguing that someone missed out on colouring in a certain picture as they just had to wait til it had been rubbed out.

We were using the crayola dry eraser pens on there with no problems.

I think my only complaint is that the girls found it a bit tough to erase the pen marks. They had to rub a bit harder than they expected to.

With prices ranging from £1.99 to £7.99, these books are bargains in my eyes. Perfect for kids to get creative and great for parents as they have less clutter to contend with. Highly recommended.
