Back to School Made Fashionable with House of Fraser

The time for kids to go back to school is nearly upon us and of course that means the dreaded school uniform shopping. I've always found when buying the obligatory uniform from the school itself it can not only be expensive but the ties and cardigans/jumpers are never anything particularly nice to look at and who wants to be dressed the same as everyone else anyway? This is where House of Fraser can help.

With their extensive range of Childrenswear including school uniform available in some wonderful brands, you end up being spoilt for choice. I was kindly given a budget of £30 to spend on something and ended up looking at their selection of coats and jackets for some inspiration for my eight year old.

Of course you can be forgiven when thinking that a lot of the well known brands such as Polarn ). Pyret, Barbour and Joules as being quite expensive but with House of Fraser's sales you can end up finding some real bargains, just like the Yumi Girl coat I managed to obtain, a steal at £30 down from £50.

I love everything about it. From the detailed heart shaped buttons, the bow like appearance on the pockets, the fur lined hood (so soft) and the gorgeous branded lining within. This is a coat that oozes style and although bought for use at school it can easily be used at the weekend too which makes it even more of a bargain in my eyes.

Being lined it is warm enough for Winter but the material makes it light enough for Autumn and Spring too. Designed to sit on the knee, it is fitted but roomy and the grey colour gives it a touch of class. Having never had anything from Yumi Girls before I have definitely been convinced to purchase more of what they have to offer.

Of course coats are nice but that isn't all that's needed when kids return to school and with House of Fraser stocking such a variety of clothing to choose from including outerwear, shoes, bags and lunch boxes, school uniform needn't be seen as boring again, let your kids show of their own uniqueness with their style choices.
