Little Loves December

The end of December, nearly 2018 eeekkk. I think we all say the same every year but it really has flown by. So here is my last little loves of 2017.

Read

I actually didn't do a lot of reading this month. I had the pleasure of receiving an advanced copy of Jojo Moyes' latest release, the third in the Me Before You series, a must read in my opinion when it gets released in January.

Apart from that, I got to read through a lot of Christmas cards, season greetings and well wishes. I like the written word so this time of year is rather comforting to me.

Watched

I've been doing quite a bit of TV watching this month. The new season of The Crown landed on Netflix, just as good as the first in my opinion, the acting is superb.

Another little gem that I viewed on Netflix was the German speaking show, The Dark. Now you can either watch it dubbed or with subtitles, either way it is a programme well worth watching, even if I did end it feeling more than a tad confused. It is up there with programmes like Stranger Things.

Made

I finished making my Christmas cake for this year. I actually began making it in November but spent time over December feeding it with Brandy and then decorating it (remember I'm not professional).

Wore

I wore a lot of festive outfits over the month, including t-shirts, jumpers and dresses but do you know the biggest thing that I wore was a smile. The festive period has a way of continuing to make me happy even when I'm not feeling at my best.

And lastly

I just wanted to say that I hope you all had a very merry Christmas indeed and I'm wishing you all the happiest of new years!

So pleased that you enjoyed Still Me, it's always a worry that it won't live up to the previous ones. I'll be adding it to my amazon list x
