We Met in December by Rosie Curtis Blog Tour

Yes I did just say the word December in a blog title when it is still only December but it's for a good reason I promise. Author Rosie Curtis is releasing her latest novel, We Met in December and I've been lucky enough to read this rather entertaining book ahead of its release.

Two people. One house. A year that changes everything.

Twenty-nine-year-old Jess is following her dream and moving to London. It’s December, and she’s taking a room in a crumbling, but grand, Notting Hill house-share with four virtual strangers. On her first night, Jess meets Alex, the guy sharing her floor, at a Christmas dinner hosted by her landlord. They don’t kiss, but as far as Jess is concerned the connection is clear. She starts planning how they will knock down the wall between them to spend more time together.

But when Jess returns from a two-week Christmas holiday, she finds Alex has started dating someone else—beautiful Emma, who lives on the floor above them. Now Jess faces a year of bumping into (hell, sharing a bathroom with) the man of her dreams…and the woman of his.

I'll admit it.

I'm a sucker for a good romance novel especially ones that are guaranteed to leave me feeling lighter hearted after reading it.

Confetti & Confusion Book Tour

Earlier in the year I was able to join the book tour for Daisy James's novel Sunshine & Secrets and now she's back with the latest instalment to the Paradise Cookery School series, Confetti & Confusion and lucky old me, I'm also back to tell you more about the second book.

Meanwhile, Millie is trying to play it cool around handsome estate manager Zach Barker. But whenever he is near Millie cannot fail to notice the chemistry between them – until someone from Zach’s past arrives and any potential romance seems out of the question.

When disaster strikes and the wedding is in jeopardy, Millie realises she may have to go above and beyond to make sure the school is a success. Can Millie manage to create a day that dreams are made of, and will she find a way to tell Zach how she feels?

I Never Lie by Jody Sabral Join the Book Tour

In recent months I've really got into the genres of crime, thrillers and mysteries and the latest novel from Jody Sabral seems to have all those elements wrapped up in it and that's why I was so eager to join her book tour to tell you more about the story.

Alex South is a high-functioning alcoholic who is teetering on the brink of oblivion. Her career as a television journalist is hanging by a thread since a drunken on-air rant. When a series of murders occur within a couple of miles of her East London home she is given another chance to prove her skill and report the unfolding events. She thinks she can control the drinking, but soon she finds gaping holes in her memory, and wakes to find she’s done things she can’t recall. As the story she’s covering starts to creep into her own life, is Alex a danger only to herself – or to others?

Is she the next victim? Or is she the culprit…?

Love Lines by Diana Nixon - The Blog Tour

Last month saw the re release of Diana Nixon's book Love Lines. I was lucky enough to review another one Diana's books The Souls of Rain, so I was really excited to be able to join in with the blog tour to let you know a little bit more about this book.
The synopsis
The traces of supernatural powers have always been crossing the world of human beings. Many people know about the existence of healers, mind readers, oneiromancers and wizards. But for centuries their lives have been kept secret and no one has ever heard about Dever, a kingdom of mysteries and magic.
Neither has Eileen Clark, whose life has never been different from the one other teenagers have.
Everything changes the day Eileen receives an invitation to join the ranks of Dever’s students.
Nothing will ever be the same again…
New life, new friends, new enemies…

And love so powerful that no magic will be able to destroy…

The book is all about the paranormal.
Eileen Clark is a normal girl as far as she is aware. A couple of weeks before herself and her long time friend, Amanda Fairey, are due to leave for university, she starts having these recurrent dreams/nightmares. Someone is with her in these dreams but who?
Undecided on what they mean, they seek out a fortune teller, a lady who later turns out to be not quite as she seems.
"You are marked by the fire, your wings are shining in the sunlight"
Still just as confused, Eileen is then invited to a school that she has never heard of, Dever.
