Protect Your Skin With Sudocrem

I have always been a fan of the original Sudocrem, it has always worked wonders on my children's nappy rash. Last year I had the pleasure of reviewing Sudocrem's care and protect cream, a triple care ointment that guards against infection, conditions the skin and creates a protective barrier. However the Sudocrem range doesn't stop there, they also have a range of mousses and a skin care cream for adults too. I was sent a couple of samples from their range to try.

Sudocrem have come up with two types of mousse, moisturising and sunscreen, I was sent the moisturising version to try.

This mousse contains both camomile and aloe vera and is gentle enough that it can be used daily on both children and babies.

There were two things that I really liked about this mousse :

1. The mousse expands so you only need to pump out a little at a time, meaning that one 150ml bottle goes a long way so even though it seems expensive at £8.99, when you work it out over the amount of weeks you use it for, it is relatively cheap.

2. It is absorbed into the skin quickly. Layla is one that likes to fiddle and touch everything so this means she doesn't have the chance to mess around with mousse.

The mousse is light and leaves the skin feeling soft, not sticky and being hypoallergenic, it is suitable for all skin types.

The Sudocrem skin care cream is their 'grown up' version' of the Sudocrem antiseptic healing cream but instead of being a medicine, it is a cosmetic.

Just as gentle as the rest of the Sudocrem range, it can be used daily to maintain healthy skin, forming a barrier against outside irritants.

I liked the size of the tube, extremely handy for popping inside your changing bag/handbag . It worked well for me as a mosituriser to use underneath my foundation and as protection for the dry skin on my hands. The one problem I found was that I did find it difficult at times to push the cream out of the tube.

Priced at a mere £2 for a 30g tube, it is a handy product that I can see becoming an essential in my make up bag.

Overall I was pleased with both Sudocrem products, they don't disappoint and compliment the rest of their range well. Definitely a brand that you know and can trust.

  1. I love standard sudocrem, it's my go to when my skin is red, sore or I've left the hair removal cream on too long!

I think I'll have to try and pick up some of the cream to try.

  3. As for the connection between Sudocrem and oncology (the study and treatment of tumors, particularly cancer), there is no mamalac direct relationship. Sudocrem is not specifically designed for cancer treatment or prevention. It is primarily used for its soothing and protective properties on the skin.
