Hotel Chocolat Scrambled Egg Review and Giveaway

One thing I just can't give up is chocolate. I've had a sweet tooth ever since I was pregnant with my third child. Hotel Chocolat is up there as one of my favourite brands of chocolate, ever since I was given the chance to review some of their Christmas range a couple of years ago. So when I was asked if I'd like to review one of their Scrambled Egg Easter eggs there was no way I could say anything but YES!

There scrambled egg range consists 4 different versions : dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate and milk free chocolate.

I would have prefered the dark one but I opted for the milk chocolate as I was considering sharing some with my hubby.

The Easter egg arrived beautifully packaged in a gorgeous carrier bag with their signature logo, all tied up with a bow.

And inside my egg was beuatifully wrapped up in tissue paper and sealed with a stamped sticker, almost seemed a shame to open it, but who am I kidding, I ripped it open quick sharpish!!

The box contains one milk chocolate scrambled egg and a box of six praline centred chocolates. The uestion was did I save it for Easter, that answer was no, well I had to review the chocolate didn't I ;)

Incase you're wondering, I did share the praline chocolates with my husband (begrudgingly). These individual chocolates simply melt in your mouth, heavenly.

The Easter egg itself is beautifully designed. The patterns formed in the chocolate are so cleverly done, they make the egg look elegant, I know a strange way to describe and egg. Now I'm writing this review whilst eating my egg and I'm left wishing that another egg would magically appear as it is disappearing too fast for my liking….
