Jacqueline Wilson's Little Stars Book Review

Jacqueline Wilson must be one busy lady, she is back again with another new release and my eldest daughter couldn't wait to get her hands on Little Stars, a Hetty Feather Adventure.

Hetty Feather has begun a new chapter in her life story. Escaoing frm Tanglefield's Travelling Circus with her friend Diamond, Hetty is determined to find them positions as music hall artistes.

Hetty dreams of a glittering future for her and Diamond. The bright lights of London beckon - will Hetty become a true star?

This the fifth and final book in the Hetty Feather series. These stories have been based around Victorian times. Following a scrawny girl with blue eyes and bright red hair and she has come a long way over the years.

Now we find a sixteen year old Hetty embarking on a new adventure, a new city, a new career all with her acrobat friend Diamond.

I'll let my daughter share more about it :

Little Stars is the final adventure of Hetty Feather and Diamond. They go on to do a novelty act at Cavalcade music hall. However Hetty is torn between sweetheart Bertie and Dear Jem. So will she get out of this mess?

I think Little Stars is great for anyone who enjoyed the rest of the Hetty Feather series. Personally, I think it is the best Jacqueline WIlson book yet! My favourite part is where Hetty takes Diamond to the seaside and gets her a new doll. It was so cute when she named it after Madame Adeline (a past character). The funniest part is where Bertie changes his act to " The Gappy Chappy", it is hilarious!

This book was an absolute delight to read. I shall treasure it forever, I can't explain how much I loved it!

As you can see this book comes highly recommended from my daughter. This is a story that has managed to bring a whole series together. With both new, quirky characters and old favourites making appearances, there is a wonderful happy ending that Hetty very much deserved.

If you haven't read any of this series yet I recommend you read them all!
