Read With Me 2018 #19

Hello and welcome to this weeks Read With Me. I hope everyone is well and you are ready to share some bookpiration with the rest of us.

I've been looking ahead for the year and thinking about the summer holidays. I'm going away for a week during that time and I'm wondering whether I should be sensible and take my kindle to keep baggage weight down or do I sneak a couple of paperbacks in?

What do you normally do book wise when heading off on holiday?

My favourite post last week came from Carole with her review of the novel Illuminae, it made me instantly want to add it to my TBR list.

On to the link up. Newbies do look at the Read With Me page, regulars get linking (max of 2 posts/videos), comment on a couple of other posts and perhaps consider displaying my badge of linking back somehow.

Read With Me

Happy reading.

  1. I always take about three books on holiday, in case I get extra reading time! The reality is I rarely get extra reading time and often only read one of them, but I couldn't bear to run out while I'm away!

  2. Always take paperbacks! And buy more there if you can!

  3. I'm a slow reader and am still in that early years stage where holidays are so busy and exhausting that I have little time or energy to read, so I tend to optimistically take a book which remains in the case!! I like BookBairn Blog's idea above of buying more books while you're away, if you get them read you could always do a good turn and leave them for the next visitors!
