A House Made Into A Home

On this day last year Justin and I finally became homeowners, really grown up stuff right there. The thing is at the time of moving in it was just a house, bricks and mortar.

Having lived in our previous home for 9 years I think I almost felt guilty at the thought of liking living somewhere else.

However the months have sped by, seriously where did 2015 go? And with each improvement the husband we've made, every mark the kids have already added to the walls and floors (thanks kids), this house has gradually transformed into our home, not just the place where we go to wash, eat and sleep in.

The Bathroom Tour

I put a picture up on instagram recently of the kids having a splash in the tub and I had a few people commenting on how nice my bath is. My bathroom is the only room that the previous owners did up and I have to admit that it is my favourite place in the house at the moment so I thought I'd give you the guided tour.

Things To Know When Buying a House

So todays the day, we are finally moving into our new forever home after living with my mum for almost 4 months. Along our journey of buying a house I have learnt a few things which I thought I'd share with you all.

Estate agents are not to be trusted.

Estate agents will lie.

Estate agents will tell you what you want to hear.

Estate agents do not actually want to help you.

I think you can see that there is a running theme to my all seeing all knowing knowledge that I've gathered.

Honestly they tell you that buying a house is one of the most stressful things that you'll do and I whole heartedly agree. A simple process turns into a long drawn out, prolonged journey that results in lots of angry and inpatient people who just aren't communicated with like they should be.

I Always Wanted A Barbie House

Now I don't know about you but when it comes to getting the kids toys I may be a little cheeky and buy things that I may have wanted when I was younger or things that I'd enjoy playing with them. So when I was asked if I would like to review the new Barbie Malibu House I had to hold back from screaming yes because I always wanted one but Santa never bought me one.

Price at £99.99, this two storey, six room house comes complete with beautifully stylish furniture and accessories, as well as stickers to decorate and make it your own. You are definitely getting a lot of toy for your money!!
