Barbie In Princess Power DVD Review

My girls have always been huge fans of Barbie, we have the dolls, the houses, the make up and plenty of DVDs. They were more than excited when the latest DVD came through the letterbox. So what has Barbie become this time? Why a superhero of course.

Barbie in Princess Power is the newest feature film which stars Barbie as Kara, a modern day princess who leads an every day life, that is until she is kissed by a magical butterfly.

This is when everything changes. Kara soon discovers that she has some amazing super powers and magically transforms into Super Sparkle but there's danger ahead.

Her cousin also finds the butterfly and turns into Dark Sparkle, but is she the real enemy?

I Always Wanted A Barbie House

Now I don't know about you but when it comes to getting the kids toys I may be a little cheeky and buy things that I may have wanted when I was younger or things that I'd enjoy playing with them. So when I was asked if I would like to review the new Barbie Malibu House I had to hold back from screaming yes because I always wanted one but Santa never bought me one.

Price at £99.99, this two storey, six room house comes complete with beautifully stylish furniture and accessories, as well as stickers to decorate and make it your own. You are definitely getting a lot of toy for your money!!

Barbie Fashion Design Maker Review

As my girls get older they are becoming more aware of what they wear and are gradually creating their own style rather than relying on me to pick out their clothes. They're certainly gaining an eye for fashion as I am always catching them drawing their own clothing designs.

We were recently sent a toy which was just perfect for my eldest two daughters, the Barbie Fashion Design Maker.

This is Barbie with a twist.

This doll doesn't come with any clothes, oh no. Instead it comes complete with printable fabric and accessories ready for you to create your very own clothing line for Barbie using the app which can be found both on the computer and on tablets/iPad.

The styles that your child creates online can then be saved and/or printed out. Once printed you can stick your designs straight onto Barbie or save them in the included portfolio bag.
