I love breakfast. There I've said it. I'd personally eat breakfast foods not only at breakfast time but at lunch and dinner too. From porridge to cereal (mmm coco pops), there is something that appeals to everyone and what I really like is that nothing seems to complicated to make.
So today I'm going to share with you a really simple recipe which takes very little time to make and gives you time to get washed and dressed while it is cooking in the oven.

Coconut Matcha Porridge Recipe
I love when the colder weather sets in, for many reasons but one is that I get to eat warmer breakfasts, move over chia pudding and overnight oats, step in good old porridge. But I don't like to have the same porridge every day, I like to mix up flavours and textures. Today I'm sharing with you my recipe for coconut matcha porridge.

Kelloggs Frozen Cereal
There are two things my children are definitely into right now, one of them is Frozen (will the hype ever die down?) and food. So when we were recently asked by Kelloggs to choose our favourite Frozen character, the kids got rather excited about what could possibly be coming our way.
A surprise package revealed some lovely Frozen goodies including an Elsa wig and a fabulous tiara which I may have placed on my head as well as a box of Frozen themed cereal.

Banana and Blueberry Oat Bake
The recipe I'm sharing with you this week is not only perfect for breakfast but you can eat it at snack time or even for dessert. This oat bake can be eaten hot or cold, like a slice of bread of broken up and served with all sorts of yummy toppings.
Best of all the oat bake remains completely healthy, full of fibre, nutritious and extremely filling so no need to snack inbetween meals…

Shaking Up My Wake Up #BreakfastWeek
Did you know it's national breakfast week? Well if you didn't you do now!! To celebrate Nestle Cereals challenged some bloggers to 'Shake Up Their Wake Up'. How you ask? The idea is that the kids and I needed to mix up our favourite Nestle cereals and give the tasty concotion a new name.

Huevos Rancheros Recipe
Whilst on holiday in Ibiza earlier this year, one of things we really loved was the food. Sitting and eating our breakfast at Cafe Mambo watching the sun rising was a definite highlight.
One of my favourite dishes was Huevos Rancheros, what is known as a typical Mexican breakfast.
I tried to recreate this, putting in a couple of my own twists.
Take a look at the recipe below :

What's The Story Morning Glory
So I wrote a post quite a while ago now about how I get organised in the mornings but lets just say things don't always go to plans in the mornings, especially when we need to get out the door for the school run.
Recently Britmums along with Belvita breakfast set bloggers the challenge to tell you all about our
#MorningStories, just how do we make out of the door on time and not still in our pyjamas??
I was sent 3 lovely boxes of Belvita breakfast biscuits to help brighten my morning so I'm going to share with you my top five tips on just how I survive the morning chaos!!
Tip One - Preparation
I've always found organisation is key. I make sure to most things prepared the afternoon/night before. I make the girls lunches and have them ready and waiting in the fridge. I have uniform/clothes picked out. Means I can set my alarm that little bit later, although I don't know why I bother because one child always wakes me up before the alarm goes off, not sure which noise I prefer ;)

Making The Most of Breakfast
If you didn't know by now, breakfast is considered to be the most improtant meal of the day. The trouble is knowing just how to make the most out of breakfast. I recently teamed up with Nestle Cereals to find out just how good my choices at breakfast time were.
Over the course of a week I filled in a daily diary describing just what my girls and I were eating for our breakfast. These diary entries were then looked at by nutritionist Juliette Kellow and I was advised to what I could do to change/improve just what we were digesting.

Belvita Breakfast Biscuits Review
With four kids to feed at breakfast, I like to give them different things to eat, gets boring having the same cereals day in day out.
I was recently asked to review the new flavour breakfast biscuit from Belvita, the kids being great food lovers were more than happy to help out with this review!!
The new flavour was Cocoa with choc chips. Now if I'm honest I wasn't a huge fan of the idea of the kids having chocolate for breakfast but they have had other chocolately cereals as a treat in the past so I can't really complain.
Each pack contains 4 biscuits. The biscuits themselves are made with a blend of 5 Wholegrains and are a great source of vitamins B1, B3 and E as well as a good source of iron, magnesium and fibre.
What I love is that there are no added colours or preservatives in them.
When giving them the biscuits for breakfast, I gave them two each as well as a piece of fruit, I'm sure you are all well aware of getting you 5 a day.
The girls were huge fans, I couldn't believe quite how quickly they ate them up!!

Of course I had to have a little try myself, surprisingly they aren't very chocolately, you can taste the flavour there but they also still have that recognisable cereal flavour, I'm not a huge fan of biscuits but I did enjoy these. They had a nice crunch to them and I'm sure a lot of you would enjoy dunking them in your tea or coffee in the morning.
These biscuits have been scientifically proven to realease carbohydrates slowly over 4 hours when eaten as part of a healthy balanced breakfast, meaning you won't get that hunger feeling half way through the morning, great if you are trying to cut down on how much you are eating.
A different take on breakfast on the normal breakfast cereal, each box contains 6 packets of biscuits. Priced at £2.59, I think they are reasonably priced. They have proved to be a worthwhile purchase in this house, we have also been having them at snack time as well as breakfast time and I would definitely purchase them again.
I like the fact that there are more flavours to choose from too, 11 more to be exact, means we can mix it up a little.
What is normally on the menu for breakfast in your house?
